History:
During the 1920’s, Dr. Arthur Penfold of Australia began studying the use of essential tea tree oil as an antiseptic. Dr. Penfold found that using the essential oil was much more potent in preventing disease than other remedies available at that time. Following the release of this study, the Australian Government began to implement tea tree oil in medical kits given to soldiers during WWII. Today, this historic essential oil is valued for its germ-fighting properties and is considered a natural remedy for treating infections while promoting wound healing.
